First and Last Name: Buck Dumanch
Hometown: Hustisford, WI
What Brought you to Fond du Lac: In fall of 2013, I had attended Moraine Park Tech for a semester of Automotive Technology. I found out during this time that schooling was not the right fit for me, as I have always been a “hands on” learner. After finding this, I found a job at Fleet Farm as a tire tech. I worked there until September of 2014, and that is when I found Holiday Automotive. Holiday was a key employer in my growth as a young professional. The Shannon Family, Willie Beyer, everyone I have met as customers, colleagues, friends, and mentors, were all of what helped me grow into the person I am today.
Place of Employment and Position: Georgetown Cleaners & Laundry – General Manager

What do you love about the Greater Fond du Lac Area today and what is your hope for its future in the years to come? I love the fact that we have the options we do in this town and area. We have amazing parks, great restaurants, and a sense of pride when you talk with others from Fond du Lac. I come from a town where there is nothing to do, so if you say there is “nothing to do here!”, maybe stop at the Ledge in Oakfield and hike for the day, or head out to Kelly’s for Ice Cream.
