The Summer Series for Interns & Co-ops is a hand-crafted program designed exclusively for Fond du Lac area businesses and their college interns and co-op students. Our goal is to assist in your recruitment and retention strategies while promoting the greater Fond du Lac area.

The program provides professional development, networking tools, leadership and life skills, and information on living, working, and playing in Fond du Lac as a young professional. By offering unique and relevant content at each event, this program provides a platform for further community exposure and enhances your talent recruitment efforts.

This Series is made up of a total of five events, spanning June – July in 2024. We anticipate over 100 students will participate!

Most events will start at 2:00 p.m. and conclude by 4:30 p.m.; all events are held on a Thursday. Refreshments and materials are provided at each event. The one exception to the stated timeframe structure is the Dock Spiders baseball game, which occurs outside of business hours.

    Registration Fee & Process:

The registration fee is $150 per intern/co-op, this secures their participation in the entire Summer Series for Interns & Co-Ops (5 events total). The registration fee for non-members is $175 per intern/co-op.

Business representatives will register their interns/co-ops. It is recommended that you determine your exact headcount for the series and then complete one ‘bulk’ registration.

Registration is required by May 13, 2024.https://bit.ly/SummerSeries2024

Valuable Advice: A best practice identified by participating businesses in 2021 was to present this as a paid opportunity to their interns and co-ops. This, in addition to having the registration fee paid and a flexible work schedule, enabled their students’ participation in the entire series. Many businesses informed their interns and co-ops of the program during onboarding, making it an expectation that they attend the entire series.
