November 18 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Leadership Alumni will again host a drive-thru version of Empty Bowls on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Radisson Conference Center from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Empty Bowls, established in 1999, is a community-driven effort to fight hunger. The three-fold purpose of this event is to promote an awareness of hunger in our community and world; create an awareness of art education and its impact on civil and social responsibility; and provide an opportunity for the community to come together to raise money for local food pantries and shelters. Proceeds from this event benefit area food pantries.
Out of an abundance of caution and being mindful of our current environment, attendees will get their soup and accompaniments via drive-thru. All who purchase a ticket will receive six soup samples, bakery, a dessert, and a bottle of water. Additionally, due to COVID-19 pandemic and schools not being in session full time, the traditional ceramic bowl will not be available this year.
Tickets are $18 and available by calling Envision Greater Fond du Lac at 920.921.9500 or stopping at 23 S. Main Street, Suite 101 (entrance off Sheboygan Street) during regular business hours. Payment is requested at time of order. Based on pre-sales, tickets may be available at the door.
