Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council to host alternative Agricultural Showcase

Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council will host an alternative Agricultural Showcase this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

As an alternative to the traditional event, the Agri-Business Council is looking to still educate the consumer through a bag full of educational materials and agricultural food products that can be pre-ordered by the public. The Fond du Lac Area Ag Showcase Sampler Bag will contain cheese, sausage, and other agricultural ‘goodies’ from our area’s finest producers.

“The purpose of the Showcase has always been to educate the public by connecting the consumer with our local producers,” Amy Ries, Director of Agricultural Programs at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “Monies raised through this promotion will support agriculture education throughout Fond du Lac County.”

Packages, available now, are $20 each; shipping is available for an additional cost. Each package will contain items from local producers and agriculture businesses such as, but not limited to, Sartori Cheese, Widmer Cheese, Weyauwega Star Dairy Inc / Knaus Cheese Inc, and Kewaskum Foods. Only 250 bags will be sold. To place an order, please visit http://bit.ly/3a9Hm2C. Purchased bags will be available for pick up from the Envision Greater Fond du Lac office (entrance located at 9 Sheboygan Street) on March 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and March 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m..
