Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council will host the 17th annual Agricultural Showcase on Saturday, March 7 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center. Admission is $5 per person; children 10 and under are free. There is no pre-registration required.

This year’s showcase will be all about Farm & Food: Fact vs. Fiction. Learn which agriculture facts are the real deal or which ones are just plain myths. The goal of this event is to find out the truths about the agriculture industry. New this year is a pedal tractor pull sponsored by Oakfield Elevator, Agricultural Jeopardy contest between local FFA Chapters sponsored by WE Energies, a V300 DeLaval Robotic Milker sponsored by DeLaval and Redeker Dairy Equipment and complementary cheese and sausage, as well as free wine and beer tasting (for those 21 and older).

Special guest Amy Hanten, host of Living With Amy on Fox 11 (WLUK), along with Karen Doster of Dairy Farmers of  Wisconsin, will showcase Amy’s cooking passion by sharing secrets, stories and recipes. Known as the “Cooking Mom,” Amy has published two cookbooks filled with nearly 200 different recipes. Guests can see Amy’s demonstration at 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m.
