Envision Greater Fond du Lac hosted a ribbon cutting with new member organization A Family Affair Soulfood Kitchen located at 417 S. Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac on February 16, 2021.

A Family Affair Soulfood Kitchen specializes in southern-style home-cooked dishes. The owner, Arletta Allen, brings her Yazoo City, Mississippi-influenced dishes to Fond du Lac as a way to share the authentic and flavorful meals they grew up on.

“This is a dream come true,” Arletta Allen said. “We have been dreaming of opening a restaurant for a long time. Realizing this dream is something we worked hard for and we want to provide the residents of Fond du Lac (and beyond) with food from and for the soul.”
