Envision Greater Fond du Lac announces role changes for two team members, moving from educational programming to economic development.
Bernadette Ericksen, formerly director of educational programs, will now serve as the director of business client services. In her new role, Ericksen will lead and coordinate business, retention and expansion efforts to area businesses; meet with business clients to discuss loan programs; coordinate outreach to all Fond du Lac townships; and develop and bring innovative workforce solutions to area businesses.
Lisa McArthur, formerly director of educational partnerships, will serve as the director of economic and workforce outreach. In her new role, McArthur will work with small to mid-sized businesses on retention and expansion; meet with businesses to discuss loan programs; maintain available building and land database; work with New North; continue to coordinate the Youth Apprenticeship; and also develop and bring innovative workforce solutions to area businesses.
“Lisa and Bernadette have demonstrated a tremendous capability to work with all facets of our community and they will do great things for all of the Greater Fond du Lac area,” Jim Cleveland, vice president of economic development at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “As they shift into their new roles, the education programming that our communities are accustomed to will continue under the direction of other staff members at Envision Greater Fond du Lac.”
