Envision Greater Fond du Lac has hired Tammy Thornton as the Marketing Coordinator

“I look forward to working with this team to promote Fond du Lac County as a great place to work, live, and play,” Thornton said.

In this role, Thornton work side-by-side with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication and will assist in the creation and maintenance of essential marketing, public relations, and communication strategies. Additionally, she will maintain the organization’s databases, serve as an in-house technology point person, and work with team members to ensure the effective executions of events and programs.

Prior to joining the team at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, Tammy served in IT roles at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, Fond du Lac Campus and Hoffmaster Group, Inc., as well as two decades in higher education with Marian University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh; she also has taken course work in networking, database, and SQL.
