Guiding document specifically for Fond du Lac County

Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Reopen Fond du Lac County Task Force, in partnership with Fond du Lac County Public Health, created materials which are available immediately to Fond du Lac County businesses to utilize in response to the Safer at Home orders.

These documents (pandemic operations plan, COVID screening tool for employers, and business guidance) are meant to provide guidance for businesses as they begin to reopen after the order expires. Business owners, employees and the communities whom support them should follow these guidelines as restrictions ease or become lifted to not risk a resurgence of the pandemic, thus causing a wave of new cases and potentially additional economic hardship.

“These documents allow businesses and organizations to immediately start writing an operations plan,” Sadie Parafiniuk, president/CEO of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “These tools will provide certainty and confidence for both employers, employees and customers.”

These documents, created in partnership with Fond du Lac’s Public Health department, specifically address the needs and risks of those individuals in our county, as well as the overall economic health of our communities. The Reopen Fond du Lac County Task Force supports and continues to monitor WEDC’s reopen guidelines that are industry specific. These guidelines are available at https://wedc.org/reopen-guidelines/.

“These documents are a great guide for businesses as they begin the task of reopening,” Kim Mueller, health officer, Fond du Lac County Health Department, said. “We reviewed a number of resources provided by surrounding communities, as well as those provided by government entities.”
