Community members invited to learn more about two international travel opportunities during September 28 virtual information session.
Marian University will host a virtual information session at 4 p.m. Monday, September 28, for individuals interested in learning more about two upcoming international travel opportunities to Costa Rica (May 2027) and Croatia (December 2027).
The information session will provide an opportunity to explore both travel experiences, learn about planned itineraries and destinations, ask questions, and discover how to reserve a spot for an upcoming adventure.
Whether travelers are drawn to Costa Rica’s lush natural landscapes, vibrant culture, and opportunities for exploration or Croatia’s historic cities, stunning Adriatic coastline, and rich European heritage, both trips offer an opportunity to experience the world beyond the classroom and create lasting memories along the way.
“Travel has a wonderful way of bringing people together while helping us see the world from a different perspective,” Tracy Qualmann, Vice President of Marketing and Communication at Marian University, said. “These trips provide an opportunity to experience new cultures, meet new people, and explore places that may be on your travel wish list, all with the support and camaraderie of a Marian-connected group.”
The travel opportunities are part of Marian University’s commitment to lifelong learning and meaningful experiences that extend beyond campus. Marian offers a variety of international learning and travel opportunities, including faculty-led programs and study abroad experiences in countries around the world.
The September 28 information session is open to Marian University alumni, friends, faculty and staff, and members of the community who are interested in learning more about either trip. Attendees are not required to commit to travel by attending the session.
