The Earth Fair returns to Founders Hall at the motherhouse of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes (CSA) at 320 County Rd K in Fond du Lac. This family-friendly event will take place on September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in rain or shine (or snow, but hopefully not)! Attendees will visit informational and interactive booths from Earth-focused exhibitors and participate in eco-spirituality activities near the solar array and at the top of the Niagara escarpment. Explore informational and interactive booths from nearly 20 Earth-focused exhibitors throughout the day featuring a wide variety of information. Visitors will learn about weatherization, wild rice projects, Laudato Si’, adopt-a-highway, birding, native planting, water preservation, land preservation, fair trade, the Niagara Escarpment, sustainable transportation, invertebrate conservation, and eco-spirituality. Accept the “Exhibitor Mission” to stop by every booth to be entered into a prize drawing!
This year’s outdoor experiences include bird watching, Tai Chi, forest bathing, spiritual retreat, guided mediations, and a closing water ceremony. Advance sign-up is recommended but not required; see www.csasisters.org/earth-fair for details.
Also outside, check out the Cleaner Car Concourse area which will allow visitors to learn more about various electric and hybrid vehicles from their owners.
This year’s activity zone will offer paper making and leaf rubbing. Learn how to make new paper from shredded paper, which is not eligible for curbside recycling in Fond du Lac. Or learn more about leaves by using beeswax crayons to transfer the textures and shapes of leaves to paper.
Visitors are welcome to explore the property on their own throughout the fair hours after checking in to receive a visitor’s badge. Signs posted throughout the property include QR codes offering great details and recorded meditations for the various sites. A nature expert will be at the top of the ledge helping with bird, bug, plant, and other nature questions throughout the day.
The Big Blue Yummy and Lucia’s Concina food trucks will be on site with a great variety of food options from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This year’s raffle will feature sustainable household products and other Earth-focused prizes, including donations from several exhibitors. Proceeds from the raffle are used to help offset the expenses of the event.
Season of Creation unites the global Christian family from September 1 until October 4 in celebrating the wonders of Creation. CSA is offering two additional Season of Creation events as well:
On September 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Family Hall at Holy Family Churc, join a film screening and discussion of “The Letter,” a documentary film about how our spiritual values call us to take action on the planetary emergency.
On September 29 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in Founders Hall at the CSA Motherhouse, join a watch party & discussion of the Faith In Place Annual Environment & Spirituality Summit Keynote featuring Bill McKibben.
