Marian University women’s soccer received 188 points to finish sixth in the NACC preseason poll.
Illinois Tech was picked to maintain its spot atop the standings with 335 points and 23 of the first-place votes. MSOE had two first-place picks and grabbed 308 points, while Dominican had the final first-place tally with its 283 points. Concordia Wisconsin and Edgewood were separated by just two points at 248 and 246. Similarly, Marian and Aurora had a three-point margin at 188 and 185. Wisconsin Lutheran was the final preseason pick for the NACC Tournament at 158 points.
St. Norbert followed with 146, and Concordia Chicago was the final school with at least 100 points at 104. Benedictine (84), Lakeland (54), and Rockford (27) closed out the poll.
The top eight teams will qualify for the NACC Tournament with the winner of the conference tournament earning an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Marian opens its season with a road trip to Augustana (Ill.) Tuesday, Sept. 1 for a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
