Brady Zackrison of Marian University baseball will be joining the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders of the Northwoods League for the remainder of the season.

Zackrison (Hutchinson, Minn.) earns an NWL spot after a strong summer with the Sheboygan A’s. In 53 games played, Zackrison recorded 58 hits with a .341 batting average and .436 on-base percentage. He led the team with 23 extra-base hits including 15 doubles, three triples, and five homers. Zackrison was also third on the team with 36 runs driven in. As a Sabre, Zackrison hit .288 this past season with a .452 slugging percentage after recording 17 extra-base hits. Zackrison was third on the squad with his 25 runs driven in and fourth on the team with 28 runs scored.

The Northwoods League (NWL) is one of the premiere summer collegiate leagues that has a track record of developing elite baseball talent. The NWL is the largest collegiate baseball league in the world sponsoring 23 teams spanning across the Midwest and Canada. A total of 310 players, umpires, coaches, and front office staff have advanced to the Major League Baseball (MLB) level.
