There’s a lot to do during the summer in Fond du Lac County; events, fairs, festivals, concerts, and more! To encourage community engagement throughout the summer, members of Young Professionals of Fond du Lac (YPF) are eligible to win a prize for volunteering at one of five opportunities: Walleye Weekend, Breakfast on the Farm, Little River Band at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, the Fond du Lac County Fair or the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership’s Night Market. Can’t choose just one? Luckily, you can volunteer at multiple opportunities, multiple times! Winner will receive a collection of items provided by each of the volunteer organizations, plus a $100 Envision gift certificate. Rules and regulations apply.
Available Opportunities:
- June 5 – 11 at Walleye Weekend, click here to volunteer or Fondyvolunteers.org click here for volunteer opportunites
- Work as ground crew, help with event set-up, activities support, and more at Walleye Weekend. Walleye Weekend has something for everyone – food, music, games, to name a few!
- June 25 at Breakfast on the Farm, click here to volunteer
- Help set-up, cook breakfast, work parking, and more at Breakfast on the Farm, hosted at 3-D Dairy in Malone.
- June 29, July 13, or July 27 at Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership Night Market, click here to volunteer
- Help set up, tear down, or join the brew crew to serve beverages at the Night Market!
- July 1 for Little River Band at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, click here to volunteer
- Help stock coolers, work as a bar runner, hand out wristbands, clean up, and more at Thelma’s big summer concert: Little River Band!
- July 19 – 23 at Fond du Lac County Fair
- Help out with a 5k race, clerking, concert ticket booths, handing out wristbands, and more at the Fond du Lac County fair! Sign-up link, or you can contact [email protected] for more information!
Rules and Regulations:
- Participating individuals must be members of YPF. Non-member entries will not qualify.
- If an individual is ill or unable to personally volunteer, “subs” will not qualify for entry.
- Individuals are allowed one (1) entry per volunteer opportunity and are welcome to volunteer multiple times. Each day spent at a festival (Walleye Weekend or Fair) counts as one (1) volunteer opportunity.
- Opportunities must be at least one (1) hour in length.
- All submissions must be sent to [email protected] by Friday, July 27, 2023, to qualify.
- Individuals must provide proof of volunteering with submissions to qualify. A photo counts as proof.
- YPF may contact the volunteer site coordinator to verify attendance of volunteer if proof is not properly provided.
- Photo submissions are subject to use in YPF marketing materials during and after this promotion.
- Only one (1) winner will be selected once all entries are submitted. The winner will be selected through a random drawing over a Facebook live video during the week of July 31, 2023. The winner will be contacted via email to be notified and coordinate prize pick-up.
- Only suggested opportunities qualify and have been purposefully selected by YPF based on good standing membership with Envision Greater Fond du Lac amongst other criteria.
- Prize: swag from each of the volunteer organizations and $100 gift certificate from Envision Greater Fond du Lac.
