What do you enjoy the most about your current position?

I love building relationships with my clients and becoming a trusted resource. Each day brings a new challenge and being a part of the solution brings me a great deal of satisfaction.

What is the one thing you would do if you knew you could not fail?

I would become a travel blogger. I love expanding my horizons, meeting new people and learning about other cultures.

How has YPF contributed to your personal and/or professional development?

YPF has helped me become more involved in my community by making connections with people and visiting new places through the wonderful social events they hold throughout the year.

What are some of the professional and volunteer groups you participate in?

I am on the Board of Directors for the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund and also a member of the Special Events and Finance Committees. I’m so proud of the work we do in the community from education on the issues impacting the women and children of Fond du Lac to Green Dot Bystander training that helps well-meaning individuals act in situations where they see power-based violence in every day life circumstances.

What is your favorite thing to do in the Fond du Lac area?

When I’m not enjoying the outdoors with my family, we love to visit the wonderful small businesses that our community has to offer. I’m so amazed by how places like Annie’s Fountain City Cafe and Sweet & Salty Pig were able to pivot so quickly and offer internet ordering, curbside pick-up and other unique socially distanced options during COVID.

Where do you see the Fond du Lac area in 5 years?

I see Fond du Lac continuing to grow together as a community to support an atmosphere of inclusion for everyone who lives and works here.

What words of wisdom do you have for other young professionals working in Fond du Lac?

Get involved! The friends I have made through participating in community events whether as an attendee or a volunteer have made such a huge positive impact on my life. It can feel hard to make time for “extracurriculars” when life is so busy, but I promise it’s worth it.
