What do you enjoy the most about your current position?
The best part of working at WiLL is the people, hands-down. There is never a dull moment with this crowd – they always make the office a fun place to be. I can honestly say that I genuinely enjoy the people I work with and that I laugh every day because of my co-workers.
What is the one thing you would do if you knew you could not fail?
I’m not a very coordinated person, so probably something super athletic, like run a marathon or climb Everest. The idea that I know I can’t faceplant or hurt myself in the process would make it way more intriguing to me.
How has YPF contributed to your personal and/or professional development?
Prior to working in the Fond du Lac area, I struggled to find ways to network and be involved in the community as a commuter. Now that I’m working locally again, YPF has shown me how many great opportunities there are to become more involved and give back locally. It can be intimidating to take the first steps to get involved, but YPF made the process really easy and really fun.
Who or what is your source of professional inspiration?
The leadership team at WiLL is AMAZING, and I am constantly impressed by the amount of forward progress the organization continues to make, even just since I joined the team in 2019. There’s this “Make It Happen” mentality that really empowers employees to think outside the box and find new and creative ways to deliver the best results for our customers. It’s a really supportive environment that has helped me to grow as a professional immensely.
What are some of the professional and volunteer groups you participate in?
In addition to YPF, I recently started working with the Fondy Food Pantry and love the enthusiasm and dedication of everyone involved at the organization. They’re doing really important work for local families and have adjusted to the pandemic in remarkable ways, never missing a beat.
I also volunteer with The Ledge Games, an annual timber competition hosted at The Red Cabin the last Saturday in September. All proceeds go towards local manufacturing, engineering, and technology scholarships. The event is honestly one of my favorite days of the year, and whether you’re competing, spectating, or volunteering, you have an amazing time.

What is your favorite thing to do in the Fond du Lac area?
On any given Saturday morning, you can probably find me grabbing coffee or breakfast and hitting the Farmer’s Market or one of the shops downtown. It’s one of the things I’ve missed most during the pandemic, and I’m happy to see life slowly return back to normal.
Where do you see the Fond du Lac area in 5 years?
I’m really excited to see Main Street continue its revitalization. The evolution over the past 5-10 years is remarkable, and I love all of the new businesses that continue to make their way into the city. As a young professional, it’s really reassuring to see the community in which you work growing and thriving, especially (in my case) when it offers more social and shopping opportunities!!
