What do you enjoy the most about your current position?
For a while I was putting in a lot of time and energy commuting to another city for work. What I enjoy the most about my current position is making connections in my own community. There’s something fulfilling about recognizing people in the various social settings and events that builds on my feeling of acceptance among my peers.

What is the one thing you would do if you knew you could not fail?
I have always held a personal interest in health and wellness. In 2017, I became a certified life and health coach. If I knew I couldn’t fail I’d start my own coaching and personal fitness company.

How has YPF contributed to your personal and/or professional development?
YPF has provided me with the network and events to meet new people in many different fields. I’ve made new friends that I wouldn’t have otherwise had the opportunity to meet. Through this organization I’ve gradually been getting outside my comfort zone and it’s led to a stronger desire to want to contribute and expand what YPF has to offer in our community.

Who or what is your source of professional inspiration?
My source of professional inspiration stems from my parents. Growing up they hammered home the value of a good education to set me up for a higher quality of life. During my school years I worked in construction and remodeling for my Dad. I quickly learned the value of using my mind to build a life of off.

In keeping with YPF’s theme for this year, “Create Your Change,” how have you or will you create your change?
For me to create change in my life it’s a constant re-evaluation of what areas need attention and development. Once I identify those areas I have to find ways to break my routine to incorporate something new. By getting more involved with YPF I’ve been exposed to many experiences that have supported me in that effort.

What is your favorite thing to do in the Fond du Lac area?
I love to get outside and be active. Golfing, biking, skiing, paddle boarding, charity runs, and social events are just a few of the things I like most about this area.

What words of wisdom do you have for other young professionals working in Fond du Lac?
Train yourself to be comfortable trying new things. You might be amazed at what you discover. New interests, friendships, career opportunities, and personal growth are just on the other side of fear.
