WMC is again partnering with local chambers from across the state to celebrate September as Chamber of Commerce Month in Wisconsin.
Throughout the month, WMC and Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE), will spotlight the vital contributions chambers make to Wisconsin’s economy by supporting businesses, developing local leaders, promoting tourism, fostering community engagement, and advancing pro-growth public policy.
At the request of WCCE, Gov. Tony Evers proclaimed September as Chamber of Commerce Month in Wisconsin, recognizing the important role chambers play in making Wisconsin a great place to live, work, raise a family, and do business.
WCCE works to promote a competitive business environment by equipping chamber professionals with the resources, education, and advocacy tools needed to support businesses and champion sound economic policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Throughout the month, chambers will mark the occasion through community events, business celebrations, member engagement activities, social media campaigns and other initiatives highlighting their contributions to local economic development.
