2025 Cover Contest Timeline
• 8/1/24 – Voting Opens – Round 1
• 8/15/24 – Round 1 Voting Closes
• 8/16/24 – Round 2 Voting Opens
• 8/30/24 – Round 2 Voting Closes
• 8/31/24 – Round 3 Voting Opens
• 9/14/24 – Round 3 Voting Closes
• 9/15/24 – Round 4 Voting Opens
• 10/1/24 – Round 4 Voting Closes at 11:59pm
• 11/6/24 – Winner announced at the Wisconsin Lodging Conference & Trade Show

Bracket-Style Rules
The bracket has been divided into 4 sides as a 16-property regional bracket with single elimination. All participants have been placed on the bracket in accordance to their geographical location.

Voting kicks off on August 1st with Round 1 and closes October 1st with Round 4. Each round of voting will last 2 weeks, with the exception of Round 4 lasting 2 weeks and 2 days. The property with the most votes in their matchup at the end of each round will move on to the next round. The final winner will be decided at the end of Round 4 with the property who receives the most votes. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by whichever property had the most votes throughout the entire duration of the contest.

Contestants will receive promotional collateral from WHLA throughout each round of the contest to promote voting through your marketing channels. This is your opportunity to create a captivating social media campaign. Engage your Twitter followers, Facebook fans, newsletter subscribers, and loyal guests to help get out the vote! Media will also be notified and supplied with promotional collateral. If there are additional contacts you would like us to reach out to, please provide us with their email addresses. 

Voters are only allowed to submit one vote per round. Individual votes are tracked via email address. In the event that a voter submits more than one vote per round, WHLA will only count the final vote they submitted. All voters will be encouraged to sign up to receive email alerts about the next round of voting in an effort to continue engaging loyal travelers and guests.
