Sophomore Kiara Williams of Marian University women’s basketball has been picked as the NACC Player of the Week for her performances at the Superior Shootout Holiday Classic.
Williams (Warren, Mich.) had a pair of big performances to lead Marian at the Superior Shootout Holiday Classic. Williams had a pair of double-doubles averaging 24.0 points per game with 15.5 rebounds per game. She went for 20 points and 14 rebounds to go with three assists against UW-Superior before scoring a career-high 28 points with 17 rebounds against UW-La Crosse. Williams ranks sixth in the nation with her eight double-doubles and leads the NACC averaging 17.2 points per game.
