Waupun Business Alliance host official ribbon cutting at new office

The Waupun Business Alliance, an extension of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, hosted their official ribbon cutting at their new office in downtown Waupun.

Earlier this year, the Waupun Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors unanimously supported the transition of the Chamber to the Waupun Business Alliance. This transition will provide increased value, resources, and opportunities to businesses throughout the Waupun area. This alliance, an extension of Envision, will focus on leveraging resources for members and work more collaboratively for the growth of the Waupun community.

In addition to the change in organizational structure, the Waupun Business Alliance and Envision Greater Fond du Lac recently established a new office at 10 West Main Street in Waupun. This new space is open Tuesday mornings (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) and Thursday afternoons (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Individual appointments can also be scheduled.

“The formation of the Waupun Business Alliance is a progressive move that further demonstrates Waupun is a community on the rise,” Joe Venhuizen, Senior Director of Membership and Programs, Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “There’s a real desire from community leaders to work together to maximize impact and it’s paying off in the form of economic development. Envision is proud to be part of the great momentum happening in Waupun.”
