Fond du Lac Festivals, Inc. (FFI) is excited to bring free, family fun and so much more to Lakeside Park once again for the 44th year of tradition and celebration.

Fond du Lac Festivals, Inc. (FFI) is excited for another year of the long-running festival in Fond du Lac.  Walleye Weekend will return to Lakeside Park on June 9th – 11th.  100% of the money raised over the weekend goes to area nonprofit partners.  In 2022, the festival raised over $230,000 through various fundraising efforts.

Walleye Weekend hosts many returning crowd-favorite events including the Walleye Run/Walk, Mercury National Walleye Tournament, Wild World of Animals show, Pier Pups jumping canines, and FamilyLand – a family-friendly area full of children’s activities.  Other highlights include multiple stages with the best musical acts in the region, tournaments for all kinds of sports, your favorite “fair style” foods, a Bed Build to support Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Imagination Island crafts and face painting, and Sports Corner challenges.

This year, Sunday is highlighted as Mercury Marine Family Day which will host several promotions and giveaways for kids throughout the park.  Family Day is highlighted by a giveaway for the first 250 kids (ages 12 and under), a family fishing tournament, The Fondy Football Challenge, a family-friendly cornhole tournament, a brand-new Breakout Band Contest with three up-and-coming bands competing for that title, Echoes of Camp Randall Marching Band, and much more.
