VERVE EARNS SPOT ON 2020 FORBES BEST CREDIT UNION IN EACH STATE LIST

Verve, a Credit Union, earned second place in Wisconsin on the 2020 Forbes Best Credit Unions in Each State list. There are more than 5,000 credit unions with 117 million members across the U.S., with only 3.5% (182) earning a place on the list. Five credit unions and five banks in Wisconsin earned a place on the list, with Verve ranking No. 2 for credit unions.

Generated through an independent survey by market research firm Statista, the list ranks credit unions based on survey responses from more than 25,000 survey participants across the U.S. The 20-question survey, which also identified top banks in each state, asked respondents to score financial institutions on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice).

“Verve earned a spot on the list based purely on feedback from our members and with so many great financial institutions in the state, we are really honored,” said Kevin J. Ralofsky, president and CEO at Verve. “One of the things Verve takes pride in is pleasantly surprising our members and this time we were the ones that were surprised. We are delighted that members recognize and appreciate the Verve experience—those little moments that allow us to interact with you as more than just your financial.”

This is the first time Verve has made the Forbes Best Credit Unions in Each State list, which is in its third year.

“Over the past several years we’ve worked hard to lay a strong financial foundation, evolve our services to keep up with changing needs and make a lasting, positive change in our communities,” Ralofsky said. “It is such an honor to hear that our members see and feel the difference in the Verve experience. Together we are making a positive change in our members’ lives and in the communities in which we live, work and play.”

Founded in 1937, Verve, a Credit Union, is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative with nearly $1.3 billion in assets and serves more than 69,000 members at 21 locations.
