VERVE, A CREDIT UNION, PLEDGES $50K MATCH TO LOCAL COVID-19 RELIEF EFFORTS

Verve’s commitment to serving the community goes well beyond helping its members take care of personal and business financial needs—it extends into providing financial support to programs and organizations that help keep our communities strong.

That commitment to helping keep our communities running smoothly led Verve to earmark $50,000 to match donations (where available) through June 30, 2020.

“Community foundations and COVID-19 relief funds provide much needed financial resources to individuals, families and businesses to support the compassionate nonprofit organizations that provide various services vital to maintaining strong, robust communities,” said Kevin J. Ralofsky, Verve, a Credit Union, CEO and President. “Now more than ever we need to come together as a community to support the efforts of our nonprofits, so their services can continue during these trying times and into the future. We know there are many people who are looking for ways to give and we hope this match helps their donation go even further.”

The $50,000 in matching donations will be split between the communities Verve serves. To have their donations matched, community members can give directly to one of the community foundations or funds listed below through their online giving tools.

Verve will continue to evaluate community needs and future opportunities for support.

In addition to its matching donation program for community foundations and dedicated funds, Verve has developed a Let’s All Do This program to provide a variety of relief options for individuals and businesses.
