Use the Fond du Lac Public Library’s list of free Experience Passes to plan upcoming adventures

Creating a bucket list of places to go this spring and summer? Check out the Fond du Lac Public Library’s expanding list of Experience Passes for must-visit sites and unbelievable locations you can explore at no cost through this program.

Over the winter, the Fond du Lac Public Library has continued to add to its suite of Experience Passes that library customers can check out for up to four days with their library card.

Among the newest passes include the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee, the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay and the Building for Kids Children’s Museum in Appleton. The library continues to offer many other passes as well, including the popular Milwaukee County Zoo and Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac passes.

Certain Experience Passes, including for Wisconsin State Parks, are one-time passes. A complete list of passes and details about using them may be found at fdlpl.org/experience-pass. Check back regularly as we continue to add to our selection.

Because these passes are so popular, the Fond du Lac Public Library offers them on a first-come, first-serve basis with no holds. Patrons must be at least 18 years old to check them out and may check out only one pass at a time.

Stop in to the downtown library anytime the library is open to see which passes are available on that day.

While visiting the library, stock up on other supplies in our equipment collection that will turn your travels into adventures. Parents may check out Launchpads to keep kids busy with educational games in the car, kids may want to borrow binoculars for a close-up view of a lion at the zoo, or adults may borrow trekking poles to give better stability on a hike through a state forest.

Not able to travel this spring? Discover new games with the library’s extensive collection of board and video games. A complete list of materials available may be found at fdlpl.org.
