Update on Fond du Lac County Safe Restart

Fond du Lac County Safe Restart Updates

With all Wisconsinites 16 and older eligible to be vaccinated against COVD-19 and an increasing vaccine supply, we have reached the point where the COVID-19 vaccine is widely available for Fond du Lac County residents to access. This marks reaching phase 2 of the vaccine roll out to the community and the end of the Fond du Lac County Safe Restart Plan.

Fond du Lac County Health Department will continue to monitor key metrics and post status reports on a weekly basis on our Safe Restart webpage. We will continue to follow and refer to WI Department of Health Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations to keep our community safe.

CDC Updates Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated Individuals

The CDC recently updated recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals. Fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask outdoors, except in certain crowded settings and venues. See their handout on choosing safer activities for a quick reference guide for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
