Three student-athletes from the Marian University women’s golf program have been named All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
A total of 1,401 women’s golfers were honored across 378 programs. The WGCA requirements for the award are considered to be the most stringent in college athletics, which only aids in the continued demonstration of the high-level academic achievements by women’s golf student-athletes. A student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 grade point average or higher and have played in half of the schedueld rounds during the season, including the conference championship.
Emma Anderson and Morgan Hernandez earn the award for the first time, while Kayla Gray earns the award for the second time in her Sabre career.
