Thelma to Host Guys on Ice: The Ice Fishing Musical, a Signature Performance For Sturgeon Spectacular Weekend

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA) is excited to return as co-host to the Sturgeon Spectacular with the signature experience Guys on Ice: The Ice Fishing Musical. This ice fishing musical is the perfect way to
celebrate really big fish with friends and family at the art center on Saturday, February 8
th, 2025.

Guys on Ice debuted in 1998 and has since become a Wisconsin musical tradition, having played across the state of Wisconsin and beyond. The show portrays Marvin and Lloyd inside their ice fishing shanty in a hilarious take on life, love, and pursuit of the perfect catch.

“This is the can’t-be-missed event in the middle of a really fun weekend. Whether you’re a musical lover, looking for a way to warm up after watching competitive sculptor carve snow, or want to enjoy a laugh with some fishy humor, Guys on Ice will be a special experience,” explained Jamie Pitts, executive director at Thelma Sadoff Center fore the Arts. “And if you’re new in town (like me!), then this is the perfect time to explore Fond du Lac, take in a show in our Great Hall, and meet fellow members of THELMA’s community.”

THELMA will have two shows of Guys on Ice on Saturday, February 8th, at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are available now at www.thelmaarts.org.

In addition to the stage production, THELMA will also host many indoor activities during
Sturgeon Spectacular, such as Strugeon Spectacular’s kick-off event with live music from Free Time, and Sunday’s Art of the Bloody Mary event with a fan-voted bloody mary making competition and music by 5 Card Studs. Kids activities will be available through the weekend for a full family experience. Check out their calendar for more info: https://www.sturgeonspectacular.com/
