Thedacare Shares List Of Top Baby Names In 2025

Compilation Shows Some Similarity with National Tracking Site’s Data

The most popular name for baby girls born at ThedaCare hospitals in 2025 remains the same as last year’s favorite, while the most popular boy name this year jumped from 2024’s second-most popular to the top spot.

Charlotte, tied with Evelyn/Evelynn in 2024 for the top favorite baby girl name, stands alone as the most popular name for girls born in 2025. Data was collected for babies born at ThedaCare hospitals through December 1, 2025.

On the boys side, Theodore, the second-favorite name for baby boys in 2024, moved into the No. 1 spot in 2025, surpassing former top pick, Oliver.

A number of other baby names recorded at ThedaCare’s hospitals had strong showings on the favorites list, including Cooper, Elijah, Jack, Jackson and Noah for boys and Isla, Lainey, Stella, Violet/Violette and Vivian for girls.

Across the country, Olivia and Noah have a firm hold on their No. 1 titles as the top girl and boy names among parents, according to BabyCenter. The tracking site listed Olivia, Amelia, Sophia, Emma and Isabella among its top 5 names for girls. It highlighted Noah, Liam, Oliver, Elijah and Mateo among its top 5 names for baby boys.
