Service Helps Provide Convenient Access to Care Without an Appointment
People in the Oshkosh area who need help with orthopedic issues like sprains, strains and muscle pain, now have a new place they can turn to for care.
The specialists at ThedaCare Orthopedic Walk-In Care Oshkosh are offering that place and a service designed to provide quick, expert, orthopedic care without the need for an appointment.
“It’s a convenient option for orthopedic care,” said Jean Stephani, Director of Orthopedic Services with ThedaCare. “We understand that busy lifestyles can often cause us to delay seeking care, that’s why we’re offering this service. It’s convenient. People can stop in and see an expert for minor injuries like sprains, sore joints and more, without having to make and wait for an appointment.”
The walk-in service, located at the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh campus at 250 W. 6th Ave., offers care for:
- Minor dislocations
- Sports-related injuries
- Sprains, strains and joint pain
- Sudden back or neck pain
- Suspected fractures
- Work or activity-related injuries
ThedaCare Orthopedic Walk-In Care will open on Tuesday, May 5. Service hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.
“So, if your ankle doesn’t feel right after a pickleball injury or you’ve started running again and are experiencing painful shin splints, our orthopedic specialists can see and treat you on a walk-in basis for these and many similar issues,” Stephani said. “And you don’t have to be a ThedaCare patient to receive care.”
The walk-in service comes in the wake of the January 2026 opening of ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh. The campus, built along the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, was designed to help expand access to health care for people living in the region.
