Salute the Troops, in partnership with the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce (WVCC) and The Venture Project, is hosting the next Vetrepreneur Project cohort October 24–26, 2025 at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

This fully funded three-day program for 30 veteran entrepreneurs includes lodging, conference sessions, program materials, and a live pitch contest with $8,500 in total awards:

• $5,000 – First Place
• $2,500 – Second Place
• $1,000 – Third Place

Eligibility:

• Resident of WI, MN, IA, IL, or MI
• U.S. military veteran or currently serving on active duty
• Own at least 50% of the business

Families are welcome and receive complimentary water park passes (meals and non-conference expenses not included).

Since launching, the Vetrepreneur Project has supported 47 startups, awarded $43,250 in direct funding, and provided nearly $100,000 in additional resources to help veteran-owned businesses grow. In May 2025, Operation Coffee, Sloppy Hog BBQ, and Veteran Sanctuary were among the award recipients.
