The Fond du Lac School District is proud to share our 2024-25 school year State Report Card results with our community. We are now ranked 175 out of 420 Wisconsin school districts. Due to the hard work of our students, teachers, and staff, our District has earned the Exceeds Expectations rating, a level not reached since 2016-17.
Many of our schools saw significant gains, particularly Parkside Elementary. After Meeting Few Expectations in 2020-21, Parkside has now Significantly Exceeded Expectations in 2024-25, achieving the highest score in our District. Both Evans and Lakeshore Elementary Significantly Exceeded Expectations again this year, and Sabish Middle School also earned the Significantly Exceeds Expectations rank.
While 13 of our 14 schools are Exceeding or Significantly Exceeding Expectations, we celebrate this momentum while remaining focused on growth. The high school saw a slight decrease this year, resulting in a Meets Few Expectations rank. We are committed to ensuring every student thrives and have already begun working closely with the high school’s leadership, teachers, and parents to implement targeted intervention strategies aimed at an upward trajectory next year.
Our District continues to make incredible progress in improving the outcomes and opportunities for the students in our community. We have maximized our resources to invest in updated, high-quality curriculum, training, and professional development for teachers and staff, leading to notable improvements in student growth and achievement. We are proud of our teachers and leadership team for implementing a new, data-driven approach to educating each and every student.
As we celebrate our success and improvement, I remain committed to making decisions that positively change and advance our students’ outcomes. When families choose the Fond du Lac School District, I want to ensure their child receives an outstanding education and opportunities for future success.
Sincerely,
Matt Steinbarth
Superintendent
