Marian University men’s lacrosse (2-9, 1-5 NACC) was defeated by Edgewood 21-11 at home.

- Marian opened the scoring when junior Trevor Stachowski found the back of the net.
- It was answered by seven straight Edgewood goals as the Eagles held a 7-1 lead.
- The Sabres battled back scoring five of the final seven goals of the half to only trail 10-7 at halftime.
- The Eagles had another strong quarter in the third outscoring Marian 5-1 to take a 15-8 lead into the final stanza.
- After trading the first three goals, Edgewood would net the final three goals of the game to put the final at 21-11.

- Marian was limited to single-digit shots in three of the quarters and was outshot 77-27.
- Sophomore Jackson Sweeney set a NACC single-game record making 33 saves, previously held by Alex Loding of CUW with 31 in a 2021 match-up with North Central (Ill.).
- The Sabre clear had a tough game only going 18-for-31 (.581).
- The Eagles also held a 60-27 advantage in ground balls.
