Strong defensive effort leads Marian NCAA men’s hockey past Augsburg

Marian University NCAA men’s ice hockey  (2-6-1, 1-5-0 NCHA) defeated Augsburg 2-1 in overtime in non-conference action.

  • The Sabres only allowed four shots in the opening period but the game remained unsettled after the first 20 minutes.
  • Senior Quinn Mulder opened the scoring 2:33 into the second period with his first goal of the year, assists to sophomore Edison Weeks and freshman Andrew Politoski.
