Senior Nicole Stachon of Marian University women’s lacrosse has been selected as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week.
Stachon (Kenosha, Wis.) had the best game of her career to lead Marian to a road victory over Elmhurst. She would score eight goals and add four assists to have a hand in 12 of the 18 Sabre goals in an 18-8 victory. She would score one woman-up goal and her lone woman-down goal proved to be the game-winner. Stachon was also a perfect 4-for-4 on free-position attempts. She grabbed five ground balls and had just as many draw controls to finish her stat line.
