Tanya Kollmann, SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital lead mammographer, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award.

Kollmann was nominated by a patient who wrote: “Nerves, inexperience with my first mammogram were immediately dispelled with Tanya. She explained in a very comforting demeanor. She put up with my goofiness and proved to have an amazing sense of humor. That means the world to me. The air around this woman emanates the caring soul she has. Thank you Tanya for being you!”

The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize non-nursing staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
