SSM Health Volunteer Services awards seven scholarships

SSM Health is awarding scholarships to seven area students who intend to pursue careers in health care.

SSM Health Volunteer Services has awarded five from the Fond du Lac area with the Waupun Memorial Hospital Volunteers granting two.

Scholarship recipients were chosen from among area high school seniors who plan to pursue a profession in health care.

          Award recipients include:

  • Chloe Jerome is a recipient of a SSM Health Volunteer Services $2,000 scholarship. She attends Markesan High School and plans to pursue a career in nursing at Winona State University.

  • Hannah Stommel is a recipient of a SSM Health Volunteer Services $2,000 scholarship. She attends Campbellsport High School and plans to attend Concordia University to pursue a degree as a physical therapist.

  • Jacobe Krueger is a recipient of a SSM Health Volunteer Services $2,000 scholarship. He attends Waupun Junior/Senior High School and plans to attend University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon.

  • Madeline Langolf is a recipient of a SSM Health Volunteer Services $2,000 scholarship. She attends Horace Mann High School and plans to attend University of Wisconsin – Madison to pursue a nurse practitioner degree.

  • Olivia Fitch is a recipient of the Waupun Memorial Hospital Volunteers $2,000 scholarship. She attends Waupun Junior/Senior High School and plans to pursue a career as a physician assistant at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

  • Tabitha Buwalda is a recipient of the Waupun Memorial Hospital Volunteers $2,000 scholarship. She attends Central Wisconsin Christian School and plans to pursue a physician assistant degree at Dordt University.

  • Gianna Spittel is a recipient of the SSM Health Volunteer Services Technical School $1,000 scholarship. She attends Mayville High School and will pursue a degree in Nursing at Moraine Park Technical College.
