Community members are invited to join caregivers from SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in supporting local patients through an upcoming blood drive.
The ImpactLife blood drive is scheduled from 11 am – 4 pm on Tuesday, October 20, in the Plaza Level Conference Center at SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital, 430 E. Division Street.
Just one blood donation can help save up to three lives, making every donor’s contribution an important way to support the community and ensure a reliable blood supply for patients in need.
To help ensure a successful donation experience, participants are encouraged to:
- Eat a nutritious dinner the night before donating, including iron-rich foods such as eggs, meat, leafy greens, and fruit.
- Get at least eight hours of sleep the night before their appointment.
- Eat a hearty breakfast and drink plenty of fluids before arriving to donate.
