SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital has been recognized for exceptional patient experience. The hospital recently received the 2024 Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades.

“It is so important that every time we serve a patient and their family that we are bringing forward our best level of service and quality, and our team at St. Agnes Hospital always so committed to the care they offer, which is representative in receiving this honor,” according to Katherine Vergos, SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital president. “It is so incredible rewarding when individuals approach me sharing the incredible experience they had with our team, which have made exceptional service core to their work here. I’m proud of them all.”

To determine recipients of these awards, Healthgrades evaluates hospitals on their performance on 10 patient experience measures. This includes categories such as recommendation to family and friends, communication with staff and discharge information.

This achievement puts SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in the top 15% of eligible U.S. hospitals.

SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital is joined in receiving this award by several other SSM Health hospitals in Wisconsin, including Waupun Memorial Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison, Monroe Hospital, and St. Clare Hospital – Baraboo.
