The SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital Auxiliary is giving nearly $850 to support the purchase of The Dental Box, a comprehensive emergency dental kit for the hospital’s Emergency Room.
The Dental Box equips emergency care teams with essential tools and supplies to treat patients experiencing acute dental issues when immediate access to a dentist is not available. Dental-related visits are a common reason patients seek care in the Emergency Room, and having specialized resources readily available helps ensure timely, effective treatment.
“We see patients with dental emergencies on a regular basis, and having The Dental Box available will make a significant difference in how quickly and effectively we can care for them,” according to Ashley Kolberg, SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital Emergency Room manager. “This generous support from the Auxiliary directly enhances our ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care and improves the overall experience for our patients.”
The Dental Box consolidates dental emergency supplies into one easy-to-access kit, allowing Emergency Room staff to manage conditions, such as fractured or avulsed teeth, oral bleeding, and other urgent dental concerns more efficiently.
The Auxiliary’s donation reflects its ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care and supporting hospital departments through fundraising and community engagement.
