Mackenzie Federer, an SSM Health Pharmacy technician in Waupun, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award.
Federer was nominated by two colleagues who wrote:
“Mackenzie goes out of her way to help customers. Mackenzie will stop what she is doing to assist customers or co-workers. Her mother passed away two years ago so she has compassion for other people. She is an awesome co-worker.”
“Mackenzie has been an outstanding co-worker and member of our Waupun staff and has grown to be an excellent technician and a role model for customer service. She is always willing to take on any additional task when needed. I can count on her to complete the daily tasks with confidence. She has also floated to our other pharmacies when needed and does all this as part of what is needed for the pharmacy department. She adjusts to change very well, and I am proud of the technician she has become in a short time. She is an asset to our pharmacy staff as she is a role model to other employees with her dedication to our patients and her pride in her position.”
The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize non-nursing staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
