Dan George, an SSM Health Pharmacy Division Street clinical pharmacist, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award.

George was nominated by Anna Floeter, an SSM Health Pharmacy lead tech, who wrote, “Dan has been so helpful with delivering medications for bedside delivery. He is especially helpful when a translator is needed. Talking through the computer to the translator (who is on another device) is difficult. Being in the patient’s room with the translator (on screen) is much easier for the patient. He has also been working extra hard with filling medications when others are in meetings. Thanks for all your help within the pharmacy!”

The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize non-nursing staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
