SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac has awarded their quarter one OAK (One of a Kind) Award winner.
The OAK Award is specifically designed to recognize physicians and APPs from the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, Ripon Community Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital, and Waupun Memorial Hospital who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.
Filip Troicki, MD, Radiation Oncology, SSM Health Cancer Care, was the quarter one OAK Award recipient. Here are two nominations that were submitted.
“Dr. Troicki was interviewed almost 10 years ago when he first joined our ministry. The internal newsletter at the time, Vital Signs, quoted him saying, ‘My goal is to provide compassionate care 100% of the time.’ He has spent these (almost) last 10 years doing exactly that. Dr. Troicki exemplifies our values of compassion, respect, excellence, stewardship and community every day to every patient; he truly has the heart of a servant and is humble to his core. His patients love him and he earns their trust in ways big and small. Everyone matters to Dr. Troicki. He is a world changer, and we are incredibly blessed to have him here at the cancer center.”
“Dr. Troicki is adored by his patients and their families because he goes above and beyond for them with his knowledge, skills and his loving heart. He exemplifies compassion, respect and excellence through the honest and kind way he explains cancer and treatment to his patients. Patients trust him and feel comfortable asking him questions because he explains medical language in a way a lay person can understand. Dr. Troicki meets patients and families where they are! He exemplifies our Christ-centered mission.”
