SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic welcomes Rachel Klepps, APNP, a pulmonology nurse practitioner, to its 420 E. Division Street location. She is now accepting new patients.
Klepps specializes in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating individuals experiencing respiratory illness/disease, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, acute respiratory failure, and COVID-19. She can also assist patients in smoking cessation.
Klepps earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Marian University. She is a member of the American Thoracic Society.
“Pulmonary medicine is a very complex and rewarding specialty that is continually evolving,” according to Klepps. “In my interactions with patients, I focus on quality, patient-centered care where I educate and empower them to make their own highly educated medical decisions. My interactions are always guided by relationship building and understanding.”
Through these one-on-one interactions, Klepps can help improve a patient’s quality of life by identifying how the pulmonary disorder impacts their overall health and well-being.
In her time outside of patient care, Klepps enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
