The SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic is welcoming, to its Urology team at 420 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. Carlton is now seeing patients bringing a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Carlton treats a variety of conditions including urinary incontinence, kidney stones, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), with particular interest in urinary incontinence and voiding dysfunction.
“My approach to patient care is rooted in shared decision making,” Carlton explains. “I want patients to feel heard and empowered. Together, we find treatment options that they feel comfortable with.”
Carlton earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Valparaiso University, and her family nurse practitioner degree from Herzing College.
She chose to specialize in urology after working in the field as a registered nurse. “I have a background in urology and a strong interest in continuing to grow my knowledge in the specialty,” she says. “It’s a field where I can make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.”
Carlton is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is passionate about helping patients navigate their health concerns with empathy and expertise. “I enjoy helping patients through their medical condition and ensuring they are comfortable with the solution we find together,” she shares.
Outside of work, Carlton enjoys spending time with her husband Brett and their two dogs, Shelby and Goose. She loves camping, being outdoors, and traveling – especially to Door County and Florida. A Packers fan and Thanksgiving enthusiast, she values spending time with family and making holiday meals.
