The SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic welcomes Zubin Lathara, MD, a board-certified nephrologist, to its 420 E. Division Street clinic. He is now accepting patients in Fond du Lac and Waupun, and joins Drs. Sameer Gupta and Bret Pasiuk, as well as Jeanna Schacht, nurse practitioner.

In his role, Dr. Lathara will see patients with kidney-related illnesses and help them effectively manage their health care needs. He helps individuals with chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, kidney stones, potassium/sodium disorders, and dialysis.

“I appreciate the processes the human body activates to stay in balance no matter what,” according to Dr. Lathara. “When I am with my patients, it is a discussion and education about the health issue and hopefully an educated approach to next steps for all of us. I enjoy the opportunity to educate and forge friendships.”

Dr. Lathara earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago and his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Lathara enjoys spending time with family, running, and playing tennis.
