John Choi, MD, an SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital Pain Medicine physician, is being recognized as an SSM Health OAK (One of a Kind) Award winner.

The OAK Award is specifically designed to recognize physicians and APPs from the Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, Ripon Community Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital, and Waupun Memorial Hospital who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service, and a commitment to excellence.

Dr. Choi was nominated by Lauren Dabringer, an SSM Health radiology technologist.

“I have had the honor of working with Dr. Choi for the last 10 years. I can’t express the gratitude I have for him. During my time working with him, he has brought so much joy and energy to the job. He is kind, compassionate, and so giving. When I worked with him, it was always a good day on the job. He is a great teacher and has taught me so much about pain management.
