Society Insurance has elected Susan M. Finco as board chair. 

Finco is the co-founder and owner of Leonard & Finco Public Relations in Green Bay, Wis. and merged her firm with Kane Communications Group in 2023. She has served on numerous corporate boards, including 25 years as a Green Bay Packers director and 13 years as a Society Insurance director. Since joining Society Insurance in 2012, Finco has been highly respected, and was a member of the company’s first female-majority board of directors elected in 2019. 

“Susan has been an invaluable member of our board,” said Heather Boyer, Society Insurance CEO. “Her extensive experience and leadership qualities make her the perfect choice to guide Society Insurance into the future. We are confident that under her board leadership, we will continue to achieve growth and success.” 

Finco succeeds Kim Sponem as board chair. Society’s board congratulated Sponem for her seven years of service on the board of directors, including three years as board chair. 

In addition to Finco, Society’s board of directors also includes Heather I. Boyer, Sherman L. Brown, JoAnn M. Cotter, John F. Duwell, Nancy Hernandez, Linda L. Newberry-Ferguson and Rick W. Parks.
