Marian University men’s lacrosse (0-2, 0-0 NACC) was defeated by Alma 15-4 in its first road game of the year.
 

• The Sabres were able to net the first goal of the game when senior Serge Simard scored 1:06 in.
• Alma then scored nine unanswered goals between the first two stanzas and led 9-1 at the break.
• After Alma scored the first three goals of the third quarter freshman Andrew Nesbitt scored the first goal of his career.
• Simard then netted a pair of goals in the fourth quarter for the Sabres.

• Marian was outshot 46-28 in the defeat and Alma also had a 31-25 edge for ground balls.
• The Sabres had a slim 11-10 advantage in face-off chances.
• Neither team had a man-up goal with the Sabres having eight chances and Alma just one.
• This was the first meeting between the two schools.

	Senior Serge Simard had his first hat trick of the season.
	Freshman Jack Moody was 11-for-19 (.579) on face offs with six ground balls.
	Junior Jackson Sweeney (0-2) had 10 saves in two quarters of action.
