Marian University NCAA men’s hockey (9-15-0, 4-10-1-2 NCHA) was defeated in its home finale 3-1 by Lawrence.
 

• Marian dominated the opening period but was unable to find the back of the net.
• The game remained a dead lock for most of the second period before freshman Hayden Tuba lit the lamp on a power play for his third goal of the season with 2:43 left to play in the period.
• The 1-0 lead would hold into the opening minutes of the third period before Lawrence found an equalizer 6:49 in.
• A breakaway opportunity saw Lawrence take the lead with just 1:27 to play and the Vikings were able to ice the game with an empty-net goal with 1:11 remaining.

• Marian outshot Lawrence in two of the three periods and finished with a 37-27 advantage for the game.
• The Sabre penalty kill held Lawrence scoreless on two chances, while the power-play unit was just 1-for-7.
• Marian had a heavy advantage on face offs by a 41-25 margin.
• The Sabres fall to Lawrence for just the third time since the 2017-18 season.

	Freshman Hayden Tuba scored the lone Marian goal, his third of the season.
	Senior Aaron Brunn (8-13-0) made 24 saves in goal for the Sabres.
	Junior Jaymes Knee was 10-2 on draws.
